Is the spin off you mention the Melrose remake?

I couldn't be more pleased to have both 90210 and Melrose Place back - super stoked!

I've been waiting to see if Annie would grow on me but.. nope, she's continues to go back and forth between annoyingly b*tchy and completely pathetic.
Silver is starting to freak me out now too.

No....that stupid dragdown menu kept wanting to put "90210 spin off in the works" as the tag and I got sick of fighting it and just said f*ck it and left it
I cannot stand Annie but I think alot of it is because I really hate that they picked the most annoying and fug person from Degrassi to play her.
